Greetings from MMU Accounting Club! We are excited to showcase our moderator and speakers of MMU-ICAEW Student Conference 2025! Meet our speaker- [Ms.Molly] Ms. Molly Wong is the General Manager of PwC Acceleration Center Kuala Lumpur (AC KL) and Partner of PwC Malaysia. She has 25 years of experience in PwC. She is responsible for providing strategic direction and leadership for AC KL, working closely with the Board of Directors, AC leadership and US stakeholders to enhance capabilities, operational efficiency, and service excellence. Ms. Molly aims to make AC KL a highly skilled talent hub with emerging technologies and a culture that brings out their best and collaborates with teams across the world. Ms. Molly is a fellow of ICAEW and member of MIA. She was a former Committee Member of the ICAEW Members Society, Malaysia Chapter from 2018 to 2023.

Meet our speaker-[Mr. Junaidy] Mr. Junaidy is the managing partner of JM & Co., Chartered Accountants. He is a fellow member of ICAEW and Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA). He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy (first class) from Cardiff University, UK. With over 25 years of experience, Mr. Junaidy has served and provided a diverse range of audit, accountancy and business advisory services across various industries. He commenced his career in London, UK specialising in audit and assurance services. He later joined PwC KL leading numerous audit and assurance engagements. He also served various companies such as Khazanah Nasional, MMC Corporation, CCM Berhad and others. Mr. Junaidy is currently a member of ICAEW Ethics Standards Committee in London, UK.

Introducing the Judge for the 23rd National Inter-Varsity Accounting Quiz (N-IVAQ) – MrJason Chia Wee Kiat. We are honored to welcome Mr Jason Chia Wee Kiat as Chief Judge for this year’s N-IVAQ. Mr Jason Chia Wee Kiat is an experienced audit professional with over 10 years in financial auditing, tax compliance, and regulatory reporting. A member of ACCA and the Malaysian Institute of Accountants, he has led audits across various sectors, including healthcare, construction, and telecommunications. Jason has been instrumental in implementing MFRS and MPERS standards, particularly MFRS 15, 9, and 16. Known for his analytical skills and collaborative approach, he has also been recognised as a top trainer at Ernst & Young for three years, demonstrating his commitment to coaching and talent development. Introducing the Judge for the 23rd National Inter-Varsity Accounting Quiz (N-IVAQ) – Mr. Ong Lu Yuan. We are honored to welcome Mr. Ong Lu Yuan as Judge for this year’s N-IVAQ. He is primarily involved in property development since his completion of the ICAEW qualification in 2000. He has completed more than a thousand units of residential / commercial properties, mostly located in the state of Melaka over the years. In the meantime, he assisted Universiti Malaya, Universiti Sains Malaysia and Multimedia University with the data analytics software which has been embedded into the university’s curriculum. He is also an Audit Committee Chair for a listed company on KLSE. We extend our heartfelt thanks to Mr. Ong Lu Yuan for his valuable role as a judge at the 23rd N-IVAQ. His industry expertise spans manufacturing, property development, construction, plantation, and services. Kian Seong is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA), and holds a Bachelor of Management Studies (Hons) in Accounting from The University of Waikato, New Zealand. Mr Shaun Lee is a licensed auditor , tax agent and HRD Corp accredited trainer. He has over 20 years of experience in tax advisory, auditing and corporate matters. He is currently the Managing Partner of Lee & Lim PLT (Chartered Accountants ), Managing Director of Lee & Lim Tax Consultants Sdn Bhd and Talent Training Academy Sdn Bhd. He is also the independent director and nomination committee chairman of HPP Holdings Berhad. Mr Shaun is member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants, CPA Australia,Chartered Tax Institute of Malaysia, The Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountant and The Institute of Internal Auditors Malaysia. Mr Shaun is currently the President of the Malaysia China Chamber of Commerce Melaka Branch , Director of Malacca Chinese Chamber of Commerce , Chairman for SJKC Ting Hwa and President of Persatuan Kebajikan Ji Ping Melaka.
