GRAND CULTURAL FESTIVAL (GCF) MELAKA RIVER 2019 KAYAK SPRINT On 30th of November, MMU Water Sports Club sent 5 teams of male and 2 teams of female participants to take part in the kayak sprint 300m which was held by Melaka River & Coastal Development Coperation (PPSPM) at Melaka River Cruise. There were many teams from other states had taken part in this event such as X Paddlers, UITM, ALAM, Muar Ledang, Barracuda Canoe, KL Team, Sabah and etc. After many rounds of highly competitive races, our teams managed to get a few achievements: Kayak Sprint 300m female category - Champion (Ng Kim Woon & Chua Jie Nee) and 4th place (Sandra Kerk Jia Hui & Onn An Chie) Kayak Sprint 300m male category - 2nd runner up (Johakim bin Jamaluddin & Chee Yong En) Congrats to all winners! This was the first kayak sprint event for all our participants and it was a good exposure for them other from dragon boat. Last but not least, thank you @mr_zulmeteor @yongyin_yy for giving us advice and guidance during training. Thank you to all juniors for coming to support their teammates throughout the race. #mmuwatersports #mmugoforit

It was such a fun session! 😍 All study stress melted away the moment stepped onto the field. 😅😁 The playful characteristic of the "little kid" deep down inside everyone of us made us forget our study challenges with one another as we battled each other out. 🔥🔥 We cheered our team mates on from the side lines. We even made jokes about how some of our colleagues should or shouldn't be playing. That only made us laugh even more, thus adding to a light-hearted and relaxed atmosphere. 😂👍 It definitely fostered a high degree of camaraderie amongst us. ❤❤. Class Fees for this trimester 2, 2019/2020:- Interested? For one class: - RM 70 for member - RM 75 for non member There is total of 12 classes in this trimester for each fitness class. For classes falls on a public holiday or you're unable to attend, you are able to replace it in the other classes available in this trimester only. 😊 You can go to our fb page to do the registration. Besides, we will having our registration booth at MAIN HALL on this coming Wednesday & Thursday. You can come and visit and make your payment also. Our classes will be starting next week (Week 3). Hi, first of all, thank you for supporting and for being interested to join our event. . On behalf of our management, I am deeply sorry for the sudden changes. There are a few internal problems that we could not avoid, thus changes have been made. . We have decided to postpone the date of the tournament along with new terms. We are terribly sorry for all the inconvenience caused. . We do hope you can still support our event even after all the changes made. Thank you.

Our last Sunday was well spent in a dragon boat competition in Muar. We sent two mix team to compete in category open 12 men crew and secure 8th place out of 23 teams. 💪🏻 We would like to take this opportunity to express our appreciation to the generous sponsors in this event, Persatuan Yang and Ang Trading & Motor Sdn. Bhd. Thank you for the support and hospitality throughout the day. Also, thanks to our coach, officer, organisers and all the supporters out there. We had great exposure while competing with other teams and at the same time made a lot of new friends. Although this is the first time we participate in Muar race, but it definitely won't be the last. See you again in next year's April , Muar! #mmucheercheercheer
