The MMU Swimming Team had competed in the recently held Varsity Swimming Competition (Circuit-1) held in Relau Sports Complex, Penang on the 18th and 19th April. Our swimmers successfully clinched 6 medals by the end of the competition. The results are as follows: 🥇50m Backstroke (Women’s) - @christytxt_ 🥈50m Breaststroke (Women’s) - @christytxt_ 🥈100m Backstroke (Women’s) - @christytxt_ 🥉200m Individual Medley (Men) - @ilje0411 🥉400m Individual Medley (Men) - @ilje0411 🥉4x100 Mixed Freestyle Relay - @christytxt_ @a.aiden12 @z.zzaun @borneel_c Congratulations to them and we wish them best of luck for their future endeavours. #sukanipt #varsityswimming #mmuswimmingclub #mmumalaysia

This is your chance to learn essential lifesaving skills that will earn you a recognized certification 🏊‍♂️🛟 This course includes 4 professional training sessions (6 weeks) and 1 Certification test, conducted by a certified coach. Whether you’re aiming for lifeguard qualification, water safety skills, or just to level up your swimming, this programme is for you! Outside, this certification usually costs RM650 to RM1000 — At MMU, you’re getting it for as low as RM260! (The cheapest you’ll find in the market!) ⸻ 🛟 Pre-requisites: • Able to swim 100m continuously • Able to swim 300m (any stroke) • Able to dive and retrieve an object from a depth of 2m ✅ A pre-requisite test will be conducted on 28 April 2026 ⸻ 📍 Venue: MMU Swimming Pool 🕒 Training Sessions: During MMU Swimming Club members’ swimming sessions. ⸻ 🗓️ Last Date to Register: 28 April 2026 💰 Fees: • RM260 (MMU Swimming Club Members) • RM300 (Non-Members) (Compared to outside — this is a steal!)
