On Awal Muharram, Muslims in Malaysia attend mosque and start a month of fasting between sunrise and sunset. Beginning at puberty, all Muslims take part in the month-long dawn-to-sunset fast that is the hallmark of Ramadhan. They believe that fasting cleanses the body, and the practice reminds them of the suffering of the poor. 🌙 May this holy month of Ramadhan bring you peace and joy, purify your soul, and fill your life with blessings.
