On this day, devotees express their devotion and gratitude through fasting, prayers, and long-distance pilgrimages. Some devotees carry the Kavadi, a symbolic structure representing devotion, or undergo physical endurance as a demonstration of their strongfaith, perseverance, and spiritual strength. These rituals are not only religious practices but also reflect the values of self-discipline, dedication, and inner spiritual growth within the faith.
